CUTZINE is a zine fest celebrating DIY culture, zines, and political art.
We gather creatives, artists and activists in a space to interact, create together and learn from one another. Throughout the festival, we will have interactive political talks and DIY/art workshops.
What are zines? Zines are a political and artistic tools for resistance and non-commercial production and creativity. Zines are independently produced magazines that often focus on content not usually admitted by mainstream and commercial publishers.
Through CUTZINE we build a community with values of autonomy, care, and collective resistance. We believe in cooperation/sharing not profit, and want texts and art to be distributed through autonomous organization outside of mainstream culture. CUTZINE is organized autonomously, through voluntary association and participation.
At CUTZINE fest you’ll find:

- The space is punk, kid-friendly, and chill! (unfortunately no accessible toilet for wheelchairs)

Focus: anti-racist resistance and decolonization. The focus for this year’s CUTZINE is anti-racism and decolonization. We’re creating extra space for zines, talks, and political art focusing on this — but you’ll also find other content. Also, this year’s CUTZINE fundraises for the Palestine Solidarity Groups in Malmö.
Organized by CUT COLLECTIVE. CUT COLLECTIVE is a new art collective in Malmö. We gather around political art and collective resistance, and we want to do everything from activism, raising awareness, creating zines together, to hosting zine fests, workshops, talks, and exhibitions.
