From the CUTZINE MANIFESTO: Our aim is to commit to decolonial and anti-racist solidarity. We want to actively work to make space for voices from non-white, colonized, and marginalized communities. This means centering that art, perspectives, and struggles as part of our collective reality. The focus for the first year of CUTZINE is anti-racist resistance and decolonization. We think it is important to put the focus on anti-racism, especially given the reality of Sweden’s current political landscape. We want to create extra space for zines, talks, and political art focusing on this theme and we want to create community around this struggle.
